Tarcutta Retreat has enjoyed many chapters – originally built as a care facility, it has been a respite retreat, a family holiday home and is now providing a welcoming home-away-from-home accommodation experience for visitors to the region – whether it is a family holiday, for work or travellers wanting to break up the drive between Sydney and Melbourne. 

 Recently purchased by new owner, Bernadette Dobeli, Tarcutta Retreat provides guests with comfortable, accessible and affordable, accommodation that features picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. 

Bernadette has made Tarcutta her new home.  Originally from Melbourne with two children and two grandchildren, Bernadette is now beginning her own new chapter – or an inland sea change - after working in the health industry for much of her life.  

Bernadette is providing a welcoming, caring and inclusive accommodation experience to her guests during their time at Tarcutta Retreat – whether it’s for one night or a week. With a service-orientated philosophy, Bernadette wants to ensure each of her guests has an enjoyable time whilst there and is able to experience the natural beauty of her adopted home and its surrounding regions during their stay.
